Lildreith Evenwood

Character Background

Birthplace: An Astranaar summer home, though Lildrieth spent much of her childhood in Darkshore
Current Residence: To be determined, though she often posts up in the Deepwater Tavern
Notable Family: Three younger siblings: Matharion, Marril, and Fyrea

From birth, Lildrieth was given a charmed life. The aristocratic Melathir Summermoon and Fylinne Evenwood welcomed their first child with joyful celebration — despite the strange tears of dark blood that would trace down her cheeks with every cry.

A bit of a wild child, Lildreith spent countless hours exploring the world around her, always more comfortable with sucking wild honey out of blooms than sipping a digestif in formalwear.

And, those fanciful joys of her family had been tempered by a world in turmoil. In the years that Lildrieth grew, the family’s vast holdings in Ashenvale were razed; their finances were drained by a failed trade venture; and as a young adult, a wild mage attacked Auberdine, taking Lildrieth and others to a crumbling tower. Her blood curse was lifted, but she was left with an unsettling, unblinking gaze and a mistrust of arcane magic.

Her parents were desperate to restore the family status, counting on their eldest, most beautiful daughter to do so. The Sisterhood of Elune would be right for her, and construction of the glorious Darnassian Temple made it all so obvious — and so immediate.

Lildrieth tried to fit in, she swears, she really did. But her soul was disquieted. A storm came as if to give form to this discontent. And without really knowing it, she took it as a sign, and flung off her novice robes into the wind.

She returned to the lands that welcomed her so naturally and is finding a way to survive. Now, Lildrieth leads a mundane life and takes solace in that. Her connection to nature gives her the power she needs, and she shows little kindness to those who try and wrest that freedom away.
